Features & Benefits
- A good source of anionic salts (measured as a negative DCAD). A negative DCAD in the cow’s diet will lead to a more acidic conditions in the blood, prompting the cow to mobilize stored calcium, increasing the supply of calcium in early lactation.
- Reducing the likelihood of Milk Fever, other linked diseases and reduced calving issues. This can lead to improved milk production over the lactation and improved conception. Health costs can be significantly reduced.
- Flavouring has been included to help stimulate intake, to combat the mineral taste of the anionic salts.
- Yeast is added to stimulate the rumen microbes, stabilize pH and enhance digestion in the rumen.
- Organic zinc is added to aid hoof quality and to support the immune system.

Feeding Guide
- THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE FEED.
- MILK MAKER SPRINGER PELLETS are designed to be fed at 3 kilograms/head/day for the 4 week period prior to calving in conjunction with pasture.
- Feed only to pregnant dairy cows in the 4 weeks prior to calving.
- Individual feeding is ideal but the pellets can be offered in a self-feeder. Slides need to be adjusted so intakes do not exceed 3kg/head/day.
- Dry pregnant cows & heifers should be kept on an unfertilised late vegetative/mature pasture or cereal hay.
- Avoid pastures and conserved forages that are high in potassium as this will reduce the effectiveness of the product. This includes lucerne, maize silage, tropical pastures, molasses & short lush pasture.
- Ensure cool, fresh, clean water is available at all times.
