Meet the Leadership Team

David, a jackaroo at heart, considers himself lucky to lead a dynamic and engaged group of employees with a shared passion for Australian agriculture. As a people person, David’s biggest enjoyment is working with the Riverina team and seeing their success and development.

With 35 years of experience in Australian agriculture working in wool, cotton, beef and grain, David brings a wealth of knowledge and long lasting relationships to the business. As MD, David’s focus is on company growth, automated and optimised solutions in manufacturing, company culture, and stakeholder engagement to help position Riverina as a premier stock feed company now and into the future.

Bachelor of Business (Accounting), CPA

Michael has been a valued Riverina employee since 1999 and worked with Riverina's parent group, Mitsubishi Corporation, for an additional 13 years. As Riverina’s Chief Financial Officer, Michael oversees the financial operations of the company and he is also a Director, Company Secretary and Public Officer. 
Michael's favourite aspect of his role is working with the Riverina team, who support each other through hard work to achieve great results. 

Bachelor of Business

Grant brings to the team 17 years in the stock feed industry, with five years as part of the Riverina team. In his role as General Manager of the Feed Division, Grant is responsible for overseeing all facets of the manufacturing operations at all Riverina mills and branches. Grant’s role brings variety and a different experience every day, as well as meeting friendly people across the agricultural industry.

Gareth has been a part of Riverina’s Commodity Trading Division since 2018 and has a further 35 years’ experience working in global commodity markets. In his role with Riverina, Gareth oversees and leads Riverina’s commodity trading strategy, and maintains and strengthens supply chains and logistics capabilities. He enjoys the daily challenges that working in a multi-faceted role in the agriculture sector presents.

Sarah brings to the Riverina team 30 years of experience in the HR and OHS disciplines. Since 2018, Sarah has overseen employee relations, learning and leadership development, health, safety, and wellbeing for the Riverina mills and branches. Sarah’s passion lies in working with leaders and teams to build a safe, inclusive and positive workplace culture.

Starting in production and moving his way through supervisor and management roles, Scott has been immersed in the agricultural industry for 29 years, with 14 years at Riverina. In his role as National Sales Manager, Scott oversees all Riverina’s sales in Australia and overseas. Scott’s passion for working with and assisting customers and farmers is backed by his intrinsic belief that ‘we [Riverina] only thrive if our customers thrive’.
