XE Market Analysis: North America – Jul 27, 2017

The dollar rebounded during the European AM session after posting fresh lows versus the euro, yen, Canadian dollar, and many other currencies during the Asian session, where markets digested Fed’s statement of yesterday, which showed a higher degree of low-inflation angst than in the previous statement. The narrow trade-weighted USD index recouped to near 93.50 after posting a 14-month low at 93.0. EUR-USD logged a 23-month high at 1.1776 before tipping back to the low 1.17s. USD-JPY recovered above 111.40 from a three-day low at 110.78.
