XE Market Analysis: Kiwi Dollar Falls After RBNZ Statement

OVERVIEW Another subdued day across markets today with no major economic data released, and the US east coast bracing itself for ‘Thundersnow’. Germany’s trade surplus came in below expectations for December as exports fell sharply, but hit a record high for the year.  Fed President, James Bullard, indicated that US interest rates can remain low through this year as the low growth and inflation environment “is unlikely to turn around quickly”.
