XE Market Analysis: Euro Dips on ECB and Inflation Data

OVERVIEW Economic sentiment in the Eurozone dipped very marginally in March against the forecast for a slight rise. Consumer confidence was unchanged as expected but inflation expectations surged to its highest reading since 2013. Spanish inflation cooled sharply in March slowing from an annual rate of 3% in February to 2.1%.  Chicago Fed President, Charles Evans, said he supports another one or two rate increases this year due to seeing “more notable risks to growth”.
