XE Market Analysis: Asia – Mar 24, 2017

FX Trade was nervous in N.Y. on Friday, though ranges overall were relatively narrow, and the dollar mixed. Uncertainty over the outcome of the House healthcare bill was behind the market chop, with wrangling going on between House leadership and the White House through most of the session. EUR-USD ranged between 1.0815 and 1.0791 through the session, while USD-JPY slipped to 110.78 lows after opening near 111.28. USD-CAD rallied on cooler CPI data and softer oil prices, peaking at 1.3385, while cable slipped early, then retest the 1.2500 level in light afternoon dealings.
