Production of Stockfeed

The science of producing feed for high producing animals has developed considerably over recent times.
Improvements include:

  1. The development of powerful feed formulation packages allowing the feedmill nutritionist to design high performing diets as well as look at a number of 'what if?' situations.
  2. Improved raw material quality in feedmills which adhere to strict quality standards when both purchasing and recieving raw materials.
  3. Improved production techniques that include computerised feedmill control, methods to improve pellet quality and the development of new feeds such as suspension supplements.
In all of the Riverina Australia's feedmills the production process starts with two important factors.

The first is high quality raw materials which are purchased according to strict quality control standards.

The second is the feed formulation that has been scientifically formulated by our on-site animal nutritionists. Both of these factors combine to help make feed produced by our mills of the highest standard.

The raw materials are blended and further processed to produce a wide range of feed types including both coarse and fine mash blends, fine, medium and coarse feed crumbles and a range of pellets of varying size and length.

We recognise that each customer has individual needs and requests and try to satisfy these requirements as closely as possible.

In production we also recognise that our staff are one of our most important assets. By continually training and informing our staff about new production techniques we can respond quickly to new requests from the market place.

Riverina Australia has kept pace with the changing face of feedmilling by assessing and adopting new technology that has allowed us to produce and supply our customers with high quality animal feed allowing them to be as competitive and profitable as possible.
