Wagga sale 26 Sep 2016: Wet weather continues to restrict cattle flows

In a bigger yarding at Wagga of 2895 head yesterday, prices remained buoyant despite less processor demand over some export categories. Agents said the spring cattle rush may be subdued as wet weather continues to restrict the flow of cattle into the selling centre. The best price recorded for trade cattle was 420c/kg for lighter weight vealer steers. The main run of European vealers and their crosses fetched 380 to 415c/kg.
