Feeding Guide
- Colostrum should be fed for the first 3 days from birth.
- After 3 days on the dam commence feeding RIVERINA FARMYARD PLUS.
- To make one litre mix RIVERINA FARMYARD PLUS powder with half the volume of warm water (40ºC). Mix well until the powder has dissolved. Top up to one litre with the remaining water (warm or cold).
- To avoid stomach upsets, do not mix the replacer at lessor or greater concentration.
- Rinse and clean equipment thoroughly after every feeding and disinfect regularly.
- To maintain a routine for the young animals, feed them at the same time each day.
- Feeding twice or more per day will lead to less digestive upsets as the stomach will not be overloaded.
- Cool, clean water in a separate drinker should be available at all times.
- Grazing animals will need access to a forage source (eg: pasture or high quality hay) at all times.
- A standard 250ml measuring cup weighs approximately 150g of RIVERINA FARMYARD PLUS. Due to variations in density we always recommend RIVERINA FARMYARD PLUS be weighed when mixing.
