Meet the Team | Anthony 'Tony' Grob

They say that variety is the spice of life which our Territory Sales Manager Tony Grob can attest to. 

Tony has been helping farmers, producers, and produce stores with their nutritional needs in Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW from our Warwick branch for more than 20 years. 

“I was born and raised at Glen Innes in the New England Tablelands Region, so being able to work at Riverina’s Warwick branch allows me to keep a connection with my roots,” says Tony. 

Being born into a family producing sheep and cattle along with some cropping taught Tony valuable lessons in hard work and resilience. “My family had to work hard when I was growing up, dealing with droughts and interest rates that were as high as 22%.”  

“One of the many aspects I enjoy about working at Riverina is the diversity within the company.” 

Tony says it’s rewarding to be able to engage with a wide scope of customers with Riverina’s broad range of products to help them find the right nutritional answer for their animals.  

“No two days are the same. You never know who is going to be on the phone and what animals they’re going to be calling about. It keeps my job interesting.” 

Tony along with his fellow Territory Sales Managers work hard to support the local agricultural shows, sponsoring classes and sometimes lending their expertise to judge competitions. 

“It’s important to support these communities that support Riverina. Giving something back goes a long way in regional communities,” he says. 

When he’s not on the clock, Tony enjoys travelling with his family and seeing many great sites in Australia and around the world. 

“Australia is filled with many beautiful places that you can visit over the weekend, all you need to do is pack up the camper trailer and go,” he says. 

“While I have seen some great locations within Australia, my travels to Vietnam, Indonesia, South Africa, Taiwan and the USA have been great ways to experience different cultures, each bringing a new perspective that I can apply back home in my life and work.”
